Allen Bush Praytor

Allen "Bush" Praytor, 55, of Arden, died Saturday, April 4, 2009 at his son's home in Greer, SC. A native of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Otho and Margaret Louise Qualls Praytor. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Norman Praytor. He formerly worked at Farnham Custom Products in Arden. He is survived by one son, Jonathan Praytor and his wife, Rachel, of Greer; one brother, Wallace Praytor of Candler; three sisters, Shirley Harris and her husband, Johnny, of Fletcher, Myrtle Pressley and her husband, George, of Mountain Home and Barbara Owenby, with whom Allen made his home, of Arden as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Skip Snyder officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 6, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
