Allen Gasperson

Arden- Allen Oliver Gasperson, 84, of Pennsylvania Road, Arden, died Thursday, December 16, 1999 in a Hendersonville Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was a son of the late Will and Martha Gasperson. He was the husband of the late Gertrude "Gertie" Graham Gasperson who died in 1992. He was a member of the Avery's Creek Oak Grove Christian Church. He is survived by a son Gale E. Gasperson of Arden; two Grandchildren, Glenn Allen Gasperson and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gasperson; four Great-Grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher, Glenn Allen Jr., and Michelle. A sister Annie Metcalf and a brother, Earl Gasperson both of Arden. Graveside services will be at 2PM Saturday, December 18, 1999 at Avery's Creek Christian Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Willie Warren officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, from 7-8:30PM at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
