Alma Bane Dula, 99, of 95 Richmond Hill Road, Asheville, died Saturday, February 16, 2002.
Mrs. Dula was born November 5, 1902, in Buncombe
County and was a daughter of the late Jack M. and Ann Cranford Bane. She was married to Jesse L. Dula, Sr., who died in 1966. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Tench (Tom) Dula and his wife Juanita of Asheville and Jesse L. Dula, Jr. and his wife Betty of Panama City, FL; seven grandchildren, Mike, Jerry, Ronnie, Barbara, Randy, Brenda and Tracy, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services wil be at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Bray officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and at other times will be at the home of her son at 55 Cowan Cove Road.

Mrs.Dula was one of the fondest memories of my childhood. She was always such a sweet loving person. I will be praying for the family that God will help them make it through this loss.
