Asheville ~ Alta Faye Cox Roberts, 86, died on Saturday, January 6, 2007, in a local nursing home.
A native of Crescent, OK, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Shaffer Cox and was preceded in death by her husband Robert Roberts, who died in 2005.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet Louise Roberts of Asheville; two brothers, Charles Cox, Jr. and William “Bill” Cox, both of Crescent, OK; sister-in-law, Faye Barnard of Asheville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Cecil Roberts of Arden; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in Green Hills Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Willis Gaines officiating.
