Arden ~ Alvin "Buster" Seckler Case, 87, of Hidden Creek Drive, Arden, died on Thursday, September 27, 2007 in a local hospital. He was born in Buncombe County and was the son of the late Arthur Alvin Case and Millie Austin Case. He was preceded in death by two sons, Buster Larry Case, Arthur Silas Case and three brothers. He is survived by three daughters, Madge McKinney of Asheville, Patricia Paddget of Weaverville and Kathy Love of St. Petersburg, FL; four sons, Alvin J. Case of Arden, Jerry Case of Waynesville, Bobby Case of Lillington, NC and Johnny Case of De Funiak Springs, FL.; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Bonita Michaels of Candler, Dorothy Buckner of Fletcher, Shirley Wright and Rebecca Taylor both of Asheville; one brother, Terrell Case of Asheville. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday at Bent Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Enoch Ball officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road is in charge of arrangements.
