Dear Sir and Laura,
My deep condolences to your family. As a faculty child, and then as a caregiver for my parents in their old age, Charley and Jean Johnson, I know the joys and struggles of faculty life at Asheville School.
I well remember one memorable meal at your table in Memorial Hall and how when Mr and Mrs Ornduff taught me manners I still practice to this day.
My family is so sad to hear of her passing after a brief illness which must have made her passing unexpected and hard for all.
I am sorry that I won’t be able to attend her service as I have to be out of town on that date.
Sincerely yours, Sean Johnson
Dear Mr. Ornduff and family,
I am truly sorry for your loss and hope that you can find some peace in Mrs. Ornduff’s passing. I continue to remember you and my days at Asheville School fondly.
To Ann\’s family we are heartbroken to hear of her passing. We got to know her through the Mission volunteers, and have since run into her around town, always enjoying catching up and chatting. She is a dear lady, and I\’m sure will be missed. May you find peace and comfort in your memories of Ann.

Can’t believe our sweet neighbor is gone! Her eternal reward will hold the Peace of knowing the admiration and respect in which she was held by those who knew her. The constancy of her availability and service to her family, then the suddenness of her passing… Hopefully the concern and prayers of your friends will give some solace to your pain.
Love and prayers for your peace, Irv and Laura!
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Ann at Sand Hill and Sand Hill-Venable. She was a kind and thoughtful person. Prayers are with you.
