Ann Jones Trexler

Mrs. Trexler was born in Proctor, NC, and was a daughter of the late T. Fletcher and Fannie Berry Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest M. Trexler in 1967, and by sisters, Helen Murdock, Gladys Gregory and Evelyn King, and brothers James, Charles and Walter Jones. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
She was a loving mother to three daughters, Gloria T. Roberts and her husband Buddy, Jan T. Ellis and her husband Bryan, and Sharon T. Petrey and her husband Alvis (Pete), all of Asheville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Roy Denton officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Gloria, Jan, and Sharon, I send my deepest sympathy to you and your families in the loss of your Mother. I fondly remember your Mom from ‘too’ many years ago when we were in school at Emma. I’m sorry for your loss.
