Anna Gomes Wolfe, 88, of Fletcher, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at her residence.
Mrs. Wolfe was born December 9, 1915 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and was the daughter of the late Adriano Pereira Gomes and Theresa Fischer.
She was a retired x-ray technician and an avid writer. She published a number of books both in Brazil and in the United States. She had several books she was working on that she was looking forward to publishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband Johann Rudolf Eltrop.
She is survived by two daughters, Helena Eltrop of Fletcher and Vera Strickland of Arlington, TX; two grandchildren, Kurt E. Koenig of Aurora, CO and Matthew K. Berry of Nashville, TN; three great-grand-children, Christopher, Amber and Micaya Koenig, all of Aurora, CO.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Friday at Fletcher Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Gary Tolbert officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Beit David Ministries, 406 Crossfire Lane, Seneca, SC 29678 or to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, 30 North LaSalle St., Suite 2600, Chicago, IL 60602- 3356.
