Candler - Anna Theodora “Teddi” Neal, 77, died Sunday, October 15, 2000. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Tillman and Frances Gilliam Neal.
Ms. Neal was a retired elementary school teacher in Brunswick County, NC where she had been named a Teacher of the Year. She was instrumental in the founding of the first animal shelter in Brunswick County.
Teddi is survived by her sister, B. Emily Neal of Asheville and a nephew, Robert G.H. Neal.
Services will be private.
