  3. While I never knew Mrs. Bradburn, we were cousins. Her grandfather, David A. King (1854-1925), was an uncle of my great grandfather, Dulin B. Stearns (1863-1962). A couple of years ago, I found a newspaper article about one of her sisters that mentioned that she lived in Asheville, and meant to try to get to meet her, but never did. I have, however, kept up with what has been going on through her sister-in-law, Mrs. Clarence Bradburn, who goes to my church. I know she’s been sick for a long time, and now the Lord has taken her Home. It is a time to rejoice for her, but a time to grieve for those who loved her. In a letter her grandfather wrote to one of my 2nd great aunts more than 100 years ago, David King wrote ‘The cheering thought of meeting in that home where Jesus dwells. There we’ll meet with our dear Mothers and with all that’s gone before. There we’ll meet our Blessed Savior where sad partings come no more.’ May this thought comfort you all in your time of mourning. My thoughts and prayers, and those of my family, are with you.

  4. I had the honor and blessing of being close to this ‘one of a kind’ lady my entire life. She was my grandma, my friend, my precious little angel. Truly the sweetest heart I’ve ever known. During our time together, she showed me nothing but absolute love and respect. I’m grateful to God for her life and for allowing me to be a part of it.

Grandma lives in Heaven now and until we are reunited… I will miss her more than words can say.

    I LOVE YOU ‘GINN GINN’
