Arline Helen Nichols Kraft, 80, of 777 Morgan Hill Road, Fairview, died Monday, May 22, 2006, at the Oaks of Sweeten Creek.
Mrs. Kraft was born in Cleveland, OH and was the daughter of the late Charles Mason Nichols and Helen Marie Frindt Nichols. She was married to Louis Walter Kraft, who died in 1997. She was a member of Covenant Community United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathy Smith, of Bloomington, IN; three sons, Lou Kraft, of Atlanta, GA, Bill Kraft of Fairview, and John Kraft and his wife, Christine, of Abilene, TX; one brother, Richard Nichols and his wife, Annette, of Edgewater, FL; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. Wes Sharpe officiating. Interment will be in the Veterans Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
