Art was a blessing for many people and was an obvious blessing for the Parish of St. Joan of Arc as well as for the Diocese of Charlotte as was seen in his work with the Bishop\’s Office. He will be missed and fondly remembered.

  4. Dear Jane and Family Members,

Arthur was one of the finest volunteers I have known and worked with over my 11 years at St. Joseph\’s. Loyal, compassionate, caring… always willing to give a little extra when needed especially related to the Guild Board. Someone whose opinion and friendship mattered much to me. He will be greatly missed. Thanks for sharing Arthur so generously. All our love to Jane and his family.

  6. Robert, my thoughts are with both you and your family at this difficult time. Remember the good times.

  7. Arthur was a student in the first class I taught at AB Tech.
He taught me as much or more that I ever taught him. As a fellow faculty
member he helped out in so many ways. I admired him for
his drive, committment, and never say quit spirit. I
will miss him and this world is a sadder place without people like Arthur.

  8. Dear Mrs. Staub:
Arthur and I went to school at A-B Tech together. He & I taught as Adjunct faculty. We had kept in touch at times since I left Western NC. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy, but I know that he is in a much better place.
We had such good times together, and I shall miss him.

  9. Mrs. Straub and Family,
My thoughts are with you at this time. Arthur was a wonderful friend and colleague at AB Tech. We will miss him dearly. Our department now has a great loss.
