Fletcher~ Benny Marshall (Mont) Case, 82, of 264 Lewis Road died Friday, November 10, 2006 at his residence.
A native of Henderson County, Mont was son of the late Edward and Magnolia Baldwin Case and was husband of the late Amy Sue Case who died in 2004. Mr. Case was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kimberly Case and by two brothers, Arthur W. and William Edward Case and five sisters, Elzia Redmon, Georgia Middleton, Maybell Creasman, Geneva Youngblood and Ruth Creasman. He was a member of Fletcher First Baptist Church where he served as a former deacon. He was a self employed carpenter and a WW II veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Surviving is a daughter, Elaine Case of Fletcher; a son, Melvin Case and his wife, June of Arden; one grandson, Bryan Case and his fiance Andi Clontz and his son Marshall; three step-grandchildren, Melissa Pickard and her husband, John and their daughter, Kaitlyn, Jason Gibbs and his wife Erin and their son, Ethan and Theresa Gibbs.
Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Fletcher First Baptist Church with the Revs. Roy Waldroup and Sherman Middleton officiating. Burial will be at Shepherd Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-8:30pm at the church.

I will always remember you ‘Pop’. Thanks for being a great father-in-law for 30 years.
I have always thought Mont looked like my Papaw, Buss. I am so sorry for your loss but God will always take care of us. I am Joan’s youngest daughter, Angie. Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless
