Uncle Ben or ‘RUFF’ as Dad would call him, was a very fine example of what a man should be. Dedicated to his God, his, Family, his Country. We will miss you Uncle Ben. Say Hello to all the rest of the family in Heaven for the rest of us. See you again someday! Eddie
Ben was a very special friend to my Mother and Father, Jane and Hilliard Buckner. His visits to them and especially to Mother after Dad passed, meant a lot to her.
My sincere sympathy to the family.
I remember so well growing up in the country we didn’t have a car so Uncle Ben became our ride to and from places we needed to go. He was so wonderful to Steve, Keith and I and was always there for us. I know he’s probably giving somebody a ride right now in Heaven. Look forward to seeing you again someday! God rest your soul!
I met Ben many years ago when I was part of the Walsh family. Then I was privileged to go to church with him and Nina for many years. He was such a wonderful man and a wonderful example of putting God first in your life. My husband was fortunate enough to be able to do work on his house many times and enjoyed sitting and talking to Ben. I know you will miss him.
