Bertie G. Holderness
February 5, 1911 ~ August 20, 1999
Mrs. Holderness was born in Marshall and was a daughter of the late
John J. And Minnie Wilson Goforth. She was married to the late Louis Holderness and she was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Norma Sams of Hendersonville, Peggy Allison of Arcadia CA, Shirley Myers of West Memphis, AR, and Helen
Kirby of Miami, FL; two sisters, Grace Riddle and Evelyn Goforth, and a brother, Colon Goforth; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Landreth officiating. Burial will be in Bell United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
