Bessie Cleo Jackson

April 10, 1915 ~ March 19, 1999

Bessie Cleo Bebber Jackson, 83, died Fiday, March 19, 1999, at Camp Care Nursing Home, Inman, SC.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Graham County and was married to the late Clarence Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, PAtsy Jackson, in 1962. She was retired after 38 years as a Special Education teacher in the Buncombe County School System, and was a member of the NC Association of Educators and the Church of God on State Street.

She is survived by two sisters, Maxie B. Camp of Inman and Jewell W. Hadden of Fayetteville, a brother, James Elmer Bebber and a half brother, David B. West.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Benjamin Black officiating. Graveside rites will be at 3:00 pm at Panther Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at Almond.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
