Dear Hal,
You have my deepest sympathy in the death of your precious mother. Brown and I enjoyed living next door to you, Betty, and Mrs. Buckner. I would have been at the visitation and funeral, but I had to have an epidural shot in my back and was not allowed to drive for 24 hours. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I learned of your mother’s death. I love you. Judy
