Betty Hargrove Miller

Betty Hargrove Miller, 81, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Miller was born in Haywood County and was a daughter of the late James Charlie and Iva Lee Messer Hargrove. She was preceded in death by a son, J. Gary Neice and she worked with AT & T as a telephone operator for 40 years. She is survived by a daughter, Terry Neice Sherlin (Tim); three grandchildren, Dale, Candice and Eric; a number of great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Ritch (Ray) and Mary Woods Fisher (George); and a brother, Jack Hargrove (Nina). Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will gather at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
