Beulah K. Broyles

December 29, 1910 ~ March 7, 1999
Mrs. Broyles was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Samuel R. and Ollie Bridges Kennerly. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Carter Broyles, a brother, Ray Kennerly, and a sister, Evelyn Robinson.
She was a homemaker and farmer, a member of Western Chapel United Methodist Church, and an avid quilter. She and her husband were beacons to their families and the community in which they lived. She had no children, but devoted much of her time to love and cherish her nephew, William Drew Robinson, and nieces, Gaylen Saunders, Mary Ann Parham, Linda Demos, Dr. Kathy Robinson, Nancy Brittain, Dr. Peggy Burgin, Vicki Moss, and Pamela Hoyle, as well as several other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews whom she loved very deeply.
She is survived by her brother, Gay Kennerly,; sisters, Ruth Robinson, Sue Howell, and Margaret Patton; and a special friend, Maude Roberson.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at Western Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Jay Broyles and Ed Worley officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue, and at other times will be at the home of Sam and Margaret Patton, 11 Zephyr Drive, Asheville.
Pallbearers will be Greg Sams, Dustin Demos, Nicholas Demos, Sam Brittain, Scott Robinson, Timothy Moss, John Saunders and Bill Brittain.
Memorials may be made to Western Chapel United Mehtodist Church Cemetery Fund or to one's favorite charity.
