I would like to thank all of you who have support me during the time of Mother’s illness. It has be a blessing to care for Mother the past few years, and I could not have done this without the support of my husband, Tommy, my children, Kelley and her husband, Jerold, and Kevin and his wife, Cherese, my brother, Charles, and my sister, Billie Rae and all of Mother’s family and friends. God has blessed us greatly with the life of my mother, Billie P. Nichols.
To my dear friend Marty and her family our heartfelt condolences-Billie was just the most precious person, Marty and I will never forget having so much fun in her mom’s beauty shop in the basement – Billie was always patient, loving and ever so welcoming to all of Marty’s friends, even when we totally took over her beauty shop – she was just a special loving friend and parent. Love to all of the family.

Revelation 21:4 ‘ He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, sadness, crying, or pain. All the old ways are gone.’
Sorry we did not open our mail in time for Tuesday services. Please know we are thinking of all of you.
Thanks to Ann, Billie Rae and my Dad, Charles, and numerous others…my children and I were able to Celebrate Mamaw’s life with her last June. We are so happy for all our wonderful memories of Mamaw. Billie didn’t let her age stop her from exploring life…at the young age of 88, I remember fondly, Mamaw hiking down a swollen creek in the Big Sur, to get to an isolated ocean beach. Not many can tell stories about their grandmothers like that. I will miss her….waiting for the wind to blow. Mamaw, tell Papaw we miss him too!

You and your family have had a difficult few months. My thoughts are with you.
Love,

Dear Billie Rae and Charles, don’t know if you remember me. We were all sort of on the young side when I last remember seeing you. You all lived on Ormand, and we lived on Johnston Blvd. Seems like, when we were first ‘acquainted’, your daddy was pushing you in a baby carriage, Billie Rae! You both were cute little ol’ boogers! Sorry we had to ‘meet’ with a death in your family. My mother still lives on Johnston, and Sonny is retired from the Navy! Hope we get to see you one day. love, Gerry (jr.) Carter Koontz
To a wonderful Mamaw who gave all of us many happy memories that will last a lifetime!! She was greatly loved by all of us.
