Bob Glenn Rudisill, 87, of 28 Mayflower Drive, Asheville, died Monday, June 23, 2003, in an Asheville hospital. Mrs. Rudisill was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Orr and Louise Kiibler Glenn. She was married to the late Tom Rudisill and was a former Opthalmic Dispenser for Dr. E.E. Moore. She was a 1930 graduate of Lee H. Edwards High School and was a member of the Asheville Garden Club and the Christian Womens’ Club. She had been a member of First Baptist Church for almost seventy years. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Reeves Hackney (wife of the late Bill Hackney) and Glenda Reeves Sargent and her husband Michael Sargent, all of Asheville; a son, Mel H. Reeves and his wife Mary Reeves of Fort Worth, TX; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 4:00 pm Saturday, June 28, 2003, in the chapel of First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Guy Sayles officiating. Memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.

  4. My mother, Mary Gorman and Bob were very good friends and enjoyed being together, especially at First Baptist. My mom too had been a member for 70 years. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
