Bobby Dean Collins

Bobby Dean Collins, 81, of Arden, passed away at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. A native of Davin, WV, he was a son of the late Clyde and Evelyn Davis Collins. Mr. Collins was a veteran of the US Air Force and worked as a product specialist for GE Medical Systems. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gayle Utterback Collins; two daughters. Lori Beath (Doug) of Stillwater, MN and Pamela Collins (Lane Anderson) of Charleson, SC, as well as three grandchildren, Haley, Claire and Cami Beath. No services are planned, but memorial donations may be made in Bobby's name to either CarePartners Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813 (www.carepartnersfoundation.org) or to The Oaks at Sweeten Creek, 3864 Sweeten Creek Road, Arden, NC 28704. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
