BOBBY LEE MORGAN
Bobby Lee Morgan, 72, of
Luther Road, Candler, died Monday,
March 29, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Morgan was a native of
Buncombe County and was a son of
the late Parley and Anna Morgan. He
was also preceded in death by two
sisters Losie Harwood and Beulah
Roller and four brothers Lawrence,
Cecil, James and Elbert Morgan. He
served in the US Army and Air Force
and worked for the Grove Park Inn,
the Buncombe County Courthouse
and for Blanche and L.V. Young.
He is survived by three
sisters, Trula Morgan and Thelma
Johnson of Candler and Mildred
Ridley of Georgia and a brother Albert
Morgan of Mills River.
A funeral service will be at
5:00 p.m. Thursday in the Patton
Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral
Home with the Rev. Bobby
Winebarger officiating.
His family will receive
friends after the service until 7:00
p.m. and request that memorials be
made to the American Cancer
Society, 120 Executive Park, Building
1, Asheville, NC 28801.
