Boone A. Messer

Boone A. Messer, 83, of Asheville, died Monday, April 12, 1999, at the Oaks at Sweeten Creek.
Mr. Messer was a native of Swain County and was a son of the late William and Myrtle Lee Messer. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was retired from Asheville Machine and Foundry Co. with 33 years service.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Edwards Messer, and a sister, Ellen Ropiak.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Rev. Stephen Summers officiating.
His family will receive friends from 6 - 7:30 pm Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
