Guestbook

  1. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Brenda. Such a sweet person with a big smile. Sending condolences to her family & friends. I know she’ll be greatly missed.

  2. Brenda was a great friend! She was a blithe spirit who lit the room with her smile and gentle ways. We shared a love for our Schnauzers. Brenda always had reverence for her mom and dad. She was a true care giver for her mom at Gibbons. While we are sure Brenda is in heaven with her Savior, Jesus Christ, we will miss her gentle soul here on earth. We also pray for David’s comfort at this time. Bless you both!

  3. Sending prayers to the family. I think anyone who knew her loved her! May her memories bring you light and love.

  8. I remember growing up Brenda and my sister Mary Hough Schrum always together and laughing until they cried…No matter where they were they would always seem to be enjoying life and their friendship. We’ll miss you. Heartfelt prayers for family & friends during this time.

  9. What a beautiful friend and daughter Brenda was. Growing up on Delaware Avenue, we spent many days blessed to be neighbors with the Holmes family. Our Mothers were hall mates at Givens, and Brenda always came to visit Mother when she and Susie were out walking. Our prayers are with you all for comfort and peace.

  11. I worked with Brenda many years ago, what a sweetheart she was. Always had a smile for everybody. I know she missed her Mama and Daddy, but she will sure be missed by all those who knew her while she was here with us. Many condolences David. Fly high my friend, Brenda.

  12. I was so sorry to hear about Brenda, if anyone was full of life and loved living it was Brenda. She was always so uplifting to be around her. We always had so much fun at grandmas when she was there. Heaven is a beautiful place and she has added more beauty. David we will keep you in our prayers

  13. My mom (Mary Hough Schrum) and Brenda shared a special friendship and one of their favorite pastimes was going out to lunch. I was lucky enough to join Brenda and my Mom for a few meals over the years and always appreciated Brenda’s interest in hearing about my family and our adventures. And I enjoyed hearing about Brenda and David’s beloved Schnauzers, and simply seeing my Mom and Brenda together. I will always remember enjoying a lovely afternoon tea with Brenda, her Mom Susie, and my Mom at the British Pantry when my Mom was living in VA. Brenda will be greatly missed and I wish David and everyone that knew her peace and comfort as we celebrate her wonderful life.

  14. Very sad that Brenda didn’t get to enjoy her mother’s inheritance from the Myrtle Beach property but even more sad that David is spending it in Costa Rica with his girlfriends.
