Brisco Owenby, 76, of Asheville, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022.
A native of Buncombe Co., Brisco was a son of the late Raymond Hampton and Viola Tweed Owenby. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Murray Owenby.
Surviving are his children, Allen Owenby (Penny), Sandra Lopez (Jamie Street) and Bobby Owenby (fiancée Rachel Wright); grandchildren, Jennifer and Margarita Lopez; and siblings, Roland Owenby (Lavada), Raymond Owenby, Danny Owenby (Carol) and Annette Austin (Jason).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Bethesda Baptist Church, with Mr. Max King officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
