Buren S. Register

Fletcher - Buren S. Register, 87, of Glensprings Drive, died Saturday, February 21, 2004. A native of Cook Co., Georgia, he was the son of the late Benjamin S. and Rhoda Stalvey Register. A resident of Fletcher for the past five years, he was a former resident of Valdosta, GA, where he was a retired employee of Strickland Mills and a lifelong member of the Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, where he had served as deacon for more than 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Bridges Register; his daughter, Beverly Berthelot, and her husband Larry, of Fletcher; sons, Joe Register, and his wife Jessica, of Costa Rica and Billy Register, and his wife Lisa, of Morristown, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Tiffany Reagan, and her husband Jason, of Fletcher, Tonya Koslo, and her husband Tim, of Fredericksburg, VA, Shannon Martin of Morristown, Josh Register of Atlanta, Felicia Bennett of Homerville, GA and Bill Register of Cleveland, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Sullivan Reagan and Autumn Koslo; and two sisters, Choma Anderson and Merlene Holton, both of Valdosta. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by Elder Bob Dickerson. Burial will follow in Shepherd Memorial Park. His family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home on Long Shoals Road. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, P.O.
