Charles David Fowler, 42, of 45 Charity Lane, Candler, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Mr. Fowler was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Rebecca Bradley Fowler. He was a graduate of Enka High School and received a degree in civil engineering from A-B Tech. He worked for a number of years with the US Government, Department of the Interior, US Geological Survey, Water Resources Division, and a Hydrologic Technician, and more recently worked at Raflatac. He was a member of the Hominy Valley Wildlife Club and a member of Snow Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Renee Edge Fowler; one son, Quinnon Williams Fowler; his father, Max W. Fowler; one brother, Thomas Lynn Fowler and his wife, Kristi, and two nieces, Abby and Madison Fowler. A memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday at Snow Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Molly Tyson and Pastor Buz Menhardt officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Snow Hill United Methodist Church, 84 Snow Hill Church Road, Candler, NC 28715.

Tommy, Sorry for the loss of your brother .I’ll always remember the good times we had growing up.David was younger but always tagged along,no matter what we were into,bb gun fights at Degroats,even the youngest member of the bicycle gang ,’The Badgers’..   8. I work in IT for the USGS. I enjoyed visiting with David whenever I made my trips up to the Asheville office. Very warm and funny human being. Will miss him greatly.
