Carol Collier Miller

Asheville, NC - Carol C. Miller of Crowfields Lane, died Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at her residence.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd A. and Anna Olshefsky Collier. She was a former resident of Lakewood, Ohio, Kailua, Hawaii and Santa Ana, California. Mrs. Miller and her husband Walter E. Miller, Jr. retired to Asheville 12 years ago.

She was a former legal secretary with the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad and a member and past president of P.E.O. She helped organize the Assistance League in Honolulu, Hawaii and was an active volunteer at the Punahou School. Mrs. Miller was a former president of the Akamaina Club and was an avid bridge player.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Susan King of Simi Valley, California; two sons, Cliff Miller of Fletcher, NC and Scott Miller of Erie, Penn. and two grandchildren, James A. Miller and Jessica C. Miller.

No local services are planned and private graveside rites will be conducted in the Sunset Memorial Park in Cleveland, Ohio.
