Barbara Carol Copeland, 69, of Asheville, passed away Friday, October 4 2019 at the Elizabeth House.

A native of Washington, GA, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Barbara Bargeron Copeland. She was a 1972 graduate of Clemson University.

Carol is survived by one daughter, Ann Russell Cantrell (Eric); one son; Will Russell; three grandchildren, Wyatt Cantrell, Graham Burgess and Owen Cantrell and one sister, Cile Vickery (Bob).

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 10 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Fletcher and her family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, Carol’s family graciously asks that memorial donations be made to the WNC Bridge Foundation, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
