Carolyn Amalee Farmer

Carolyn Amalee McConnell Farmer, 72, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Mission Hospital.

Mrs. Farmer was born January 21, 1949, in Buncombe County to the late Dexter and Edith Boyd McConnell. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Farmer (2000) and she worked in home health care.

She is survived by her son, Gregg Farmer (Kathy); two grandsons, Justin Farmer (Sarah) and Cody Farmer (Kristin); step-daughter, Summer Mashburn; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Bradford (Bruce) and brothers, Melvin McConnell (Alice) and Ricky McConnell (Penny).

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
