Carroll Conley Cooper, 78, of the Riceville community, died on Thursday, July 16, 2009, at the Laurels of Summit Ridge.
A native of Jackson Co., Mr. Cooper was a son of the late Grady and Lela Howell Cooper.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Kyle Cooper; daughter, Annie Cooper, of Asheville; and son, Mike Cooper, of Medina, OH.
Services for Mr. Cooper will be held at a later date.
