Cecil O. Creasman, 83, of 218 Bent Creek Road, Asheville, died Wednesday, September 15, 1999.
Mr. Creasman was born in Buncombe County and was preceded in death by his parents, William O. and Leah Brooks Creasman, and by a son who died in
1980, Tommy Creasman. He was retired from Sayles Biltmore Bleacheries and was a member of Bent Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Fletcher Creasman; a son, Larry
Creasman of Morgan Hill, CA; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bent Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
