Cheryl Ann Kent McMahan, 57, of Leicester, died Sunday, July 12, 2015, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center.
Born November 9, 1957 in Winsted, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Estella Coon Kent. She was also preceded in death by step-sisters Janice Hardaway and Cindy Marlor.
Mrs. McMahan is survived by her husband, Bruce Allen McMahan; daughter, Laura Masters (Michael); grandchildren, Katie and Alex Masters; step-mother, Judy Kent; sister, Karen Justice; brothers, Richard Kent, Jr., Mark Kent, and Ronald Kent; step-siblings, Brian Neal, Michael Neal, Steven Neal, and Anita Ellis; great-nephew considered a son, Zachery Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronald McMahan officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses.

So sorry to her about Cheryl. She was a very special person and loved by many. We met Cheryl thru her brother Mark Kent and Sob when they lived near us on Hansel Avenue. She will truly l be missed by many and I pray that each of you can find comfort and strength in our Lord and Savior.

Judy Kent and family I am so sorry to hear that Cheryl passed away .The last time Isaw her she was at the store and we laughed and talked she was always so friendly and a good person helping who ever she could .RIP Cheryl you won’t have to suffer no more you are in the hands of the Lord .goodbye my friend we will meet again .
