Chris Alexander Schultz

Chris Alexander Schultz, 71, passed away on April 10, 2025 in Mills River, North Carolina. Born June 3, 1953, in Asheville, North Carolina. Chris lived a life rooted in service, family, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Chris served honorably in the United States Navy from 1971 to 1975. His time in the military reflected a strong sense of duty and commitment that remained with him throughout his life.

Chris was the proud parent of Summer Lindsay (Bryan) and son Alex Schultz. Chris was also a cherished Papaw to Addison, Micah, Hunter, and Titus Speight, as well as Callie and Hadlee Schultz. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Schultz and Ruth Helen Smith Schultz.

In retirement, Chris found joy in fishing with friends and family. He was always working outside with his plants and gardening. He shared a special bond with his dog Cocomo, whose companionship brought comfort and happiness.
