Christian Annette "Sissy" Moore, 15, of Asheville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 6, 2013, at Mission Hospital.
She was a daughter of Pamela Annette Moore.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by grandparents Don "DA" Moore, and Freddie Mammaw Moore; brothers Lawrence Jake "LJ" McClain, III, Daryn Moore, and DeShaun Moore; and nephews Braxton and Maddyx "Max" Moore.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Lewis Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Annette Moore and Pamela Annette Moore Fund, State Employee's Credit Union, 145 Smokey Park Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.

Such a loss for this world to have lost such a brave strong young woman, who never got the chance to graduate high school or go to college. But she will be healthy and happy in Heaven now and won’t be suffering as she has the last few years. Christian will be the glowing young woman with the big beautiful smile and bright shining eyes when we all see her again someday. I’m sure my Daddy was there to greet her in Heaven.
I will dearly miss you christian you were my best friend/ my little sister. I did anything I could to help you through your long hard battle through your cancer. All I can say is God gained a beautiful Angel Last night at 9:30 pm. I know you are watching over us and don’t want us sad about your death. But I will see you in Heaven. When I pass on I love you and I will miss you, You was a blessing to have a friend and thoughts and prayers are there for your family. I will see you soon my little sister <3 Love you
Pam…There is nothing that I could say to ease your grief or take away your pain other than to tell you that our God has not forsaken you and is only a whisper away. Place your faith in him to get you through this horrible, horrible time and replace your tears with beautiful memories of your precious time with Christian. I love you.
DeShaun, L.J., and Darren…You have lost your beautiful sister. These next few weeks are going to be very hard on you guys. I just want you three to know that you have lots of friends and family supporting you and we’re only a phone call or text message away if you want to talk.
Freddie & Donnie…You have lost one of the most precious gifts – a sweet, sweet grandaughter. I want you to know that your family is here for you and is grieving your loss right along with you. No one could possibly understand the pain you are feeling. We love you both.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Christian. She was such a sweet and caring young lady, a bright light in our class. My heart goes out to her family.
Pam I am so sorry for your loss. She is not in pain now. I know that doesn’t help you to feel better, but it is all I know to tell all of you at this time. We do not know why this beautiful young girl had to leave so soon, but we do know She is in the presence of her Savior now and She is happy! I love you all very much!

I hardly know what to say. Christian was and is loved by so many people,everyone who met her loved her. She had a kind spirit and a gentleness about her that very few people ever encounter in a teenager.She went through a lot and always kept that beautiful smile, how, I don’t know. She will be remembered with love by lots of people but especially her family who meant so much to her.We miss you CHRISTIAN,we’ll see you soon.

I have gained my wings, I am smiling now. Now more pain to have to withstand…I am happy and free…and mom, friends and family, my new home you really should see…The streets are golden, the sky is blue…there are angels singing, each one in tune….there are friends and family who were sick like me, we are all well, we are hole, happy and free…and there is the Lord right over there…wow this place is amazing….the only thing that I miss on the earth is you and my friends, but we will be together again some day…we will back down the streets of gold, talk to each other, I will show you around my new home….until then, you have the memories we made….the laughs, the secrets…the smiles and yes even some tears, but nobody can take any of those away…I love you and miss you and want you to promise me that when it is your time to leave the earth, you will be ready and you will be here in heaven..this beautiful land with me….

Pamela… I am so sorry for your loss. Christian fought a hard battle and I admire her for the strength she had… I know that my words can not bring her back but just know that now she is an guardian angel watching and helping Riley and others fight this horrible cancer!! She was always very sweet to Riley and I and her smile lit up a room!! She will never be forgotten!!
