Cleo Nora Surrett Reemes, 57, of Sluder Branch Rd., Leicester, died Monday, March 1, 1999.


A native of Buncombe County, She was a daughter of the late Orville and Salma Surrett. She was preceded in death by a son Dean Reemes and was an employee of Sandy Mush Herb Nursery.


Mrs Reemes is survived by her husband, Robert J. Reemes; one daughter Janet R. Reemes; four sons, Steve J., Robert C., Ronnie and Tony Reemes; a special friend, Tommy Flynn; two sisters, Carolyn Worley and Margie Surrett; four brothers, Earnest, Arnold, Ronnie and Dale Surrett; and seven grandchildren.


A memorial service will be 5:30 pm Thursday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Ralph Reemes officiating. Her family will receive friends folowing the service until 7:00 pm. At other times the family will be at the home of the daughter, 219 O'Donald Rd., Lot 7.


Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
