Connie Louise Jenkins Jackson, 88, of Arden, died Friday, June 18, 1999 in an Asheville hospital.
A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late John Melvin and Mary Etta Goodson Jenkins and wife of James Harrison Jackson who died in 1963. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Jackson. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and retired from Rental Uniform Service.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie Gasperson and Lillian Taylor, both of Arden; five sons, Dallas Jenkins, John Jackson, Roy Jackson, Harry Jackson, all of Arden and George 'Doc' Jackson of Weaverville; one sister, Lillian Pittillo of Arden; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday, June 21, 1999 at 2:00 pm in Calvary Episcopal Churchyard.
The family will be at the home of Harry Jackson, 84 Old Shoals Road, Arden.
