DALLAS S. SURRETT
Dallas S. Surrett, 61, of 286 Sugar Creek Road, Leicester, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006.
Mr. Surrett was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Shelton Mark Surrett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene R. Surrett, and he was a cattle farmer.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Lou Woody Surrett of Leicester, a personal friend, Evelyn Meadows, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Paynes Chapel Church with the Rev. Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and again one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
