Danny Eugene Rogers, 51, of Mars Hill, NC, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Mission Hospital.

Danny was born February 7, 1968, in Asheville, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, Fletcher Wayne Rogers.

Surviving are his mother, Jean Robertson Frady and her husband, Lewis; brother, B.J. Lyda; and step-brothers and sister, Jerry Frady (Stacey), Donna Frady, and Jamie Frady (Alisa); step mother, Susie Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I met Danny when I was 19 20 years old I worked with Danny for a few years and he made work worth the time I was there there was never a dual moment with him he was such a sweet soul he will be greatly missed this world will not be the same without him God bless his family in this difficult time

  9. I loved seeing Danny’s eyes light up when we talked about his favorite things and hearing his amazingly contagious laugh. I was blessed to work with him for three years and he will be sorely missed. He was definitely loved by all and his missing presence will be hard to get used to. My condolences go out to the family.

He made many people smile throughout their day and he will continue to do so. It was truly a blessing being able to have met him and have a couple jokes to pull with him. So sorry for your loss of an amazing person he always would brighten up your day with his greetings and his smiles…..he loved his Sponge Bob Square Paints blanket and shirt for sure the first time I ever worked there….took him to Burger King and he said he wanted the biggest burger they had ..so that’s what he got he ate it all…..DR you will be missed by so many ….but know you will be always on our minds and in our hearts…..love you lil guy always and forever…..prayers for all the family members and all his friends at the Mars Hill site…..where he was so loved by everyone…..”Go Rest High On That Mountain “…….Love you DR……

So sorry for your loss of an incredible person he would always brighten your day or evening with the biggest smile and the very first time I worked there he ask me to take him to Burger King so he could eat the biggest sandwich that they had so I took him there and he got his big sandwich,ate it all plus fries and his drink……he also loved his Batman and his Spongebob square pants shirts….he would always tell me look at my shirt….last time I worked there with him this past year he would still want a big hug and show you his new stuff….you will be missed my many and always loved and in so many hearts and minds …..prayers to the family, friends and all the staff at Blue West Group Homes in Mars Hill NC……
