David Houston Cook

David Houston Cook, 84, of 24 Hidden Acres Drive, Asheville, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at the Beverly Health Care Center. Mr. Cook was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Samuel Doke Cook and Carrie Mae Ballinger Cook. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was a retired machinist. He is survived by his sister, Hattie Mae Faulkner of Asheville. A graveside service will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Tommy Bridges officiating.
