David Lee Luckadoo, 72, of 41 Westfield Road, Fletcher, died Friday, October 14, 2011, at JF Keever Solace Center.
A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Jesse Roy and Robbie Lee Towe Luckadoo and was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Luckadoo. Mr. Luckadoo had been a sales manager for WNC BlueCross/BlueShield, a member of Biltmore Baptist Church and was a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Emory Luckadoo; children, Paige Lee Buckles (Allen), Kimberly Hardin (Barry); step-children, Joe Bryan Emory (Mary), James Brandon Emory (Tracy) and Kitzi Lynn Emory; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Wednesday prior to the service.
The family would like to make specific mention of the outstanding, loving care given by Chrislyn Baughman at JF Keever Solace Center.
