David Lee McCarthy, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 5, 2021.

Mr. McCarthy was born in Asheville, NC to the late Walter William McCarthy and Mary Isabel McElrath McCarthy. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Edick; a brother, Wayne McCarthy and a nephew Marc McCarthy.

David was a simple man and what he cherished most was his family as evident of the pictures of his grandchildren throughout his house. He will be missed by all who were honored to have him in their life.

David is survived by his two children; Scott McCarthy (Teresa) and Cheryl McCarthy Hollingsworth (Todd) and four grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, and Ian McCarthy and MacKenzie Beaver.
