  1. This man was more than my Grandfather. He was my rock and support through the years. He is missed more than words can explain and I love him more than anything. I know he is happy and healthy watching us from heaven.

  2. With deepest sympathies and prayers for the family. We share in your loss, Hazel Sparks Penland family.

  3. I am sorry for your loss. He was a great friend and asset to the world . He blessed the earth with his presence and touched so many lives. He will always be remembered with his smile and the love that surrounded him.

  4. Dave Shirlin and I worked together for many years at Daniels Graphics. I was young when I joined the Daniels Sales Team and Dave was tough on me – many times – for making promises that he had to keep. I grew to love and respect him as a leader in our company and a friend. We have missed Dave at Daniels over the years since his retirement and I am sad to hear of his passing. My prayers are with the family during this time of loss – I know he will always be remembered fondly by all.

  5. David was a Godly man and a positive influence on everyone that knew him. He will be missed. Our prayers are with the family during this time of loss.
