Dennis Elsworth Rector, 75, of Asheville, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at StoneCreek Health and Rehabilitation.

A native of Buncombe Co., Dennis was a son of the late Elsworth and Lucille Ramsey Rector.

Surviving is his wife, Joyce Robinson Rector; son, Brad Rector; brother, Keith Rector (Patty); sister-in-law, Ann Robinson Ricker; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
