Elizabeth Diane Ingle, 66, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.

A native of Haywood Co., Diane was a daughter of the late John and Connie Sharp Ingle. She was also preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Surviving are her daughters, Connie Lipe (Ken), Leslie Wilson (Chancy), Jamie Killian (Jamie), and Michelle Ledbetter (Josh); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise, Phyllis, June and Dean, and brother, Danny.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with Rev. Leon Stewart officiating.

Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

  1. I have lots of memories of Diane. Had some good times as me & my cousins were growing up. She was such a sweet lady. She loved her family dearly. My prayers will be with you all. May God comfort you & give you strength through this difficult time.🙏

  3. I remember a Diane Ingle who lived in Pisgah View Apts. back in the 1960s. This sounds like her. We used to be good friends. So sorry for your loss.

Im so sorry for your loss prayer for you all ..aunt diane you are loved and missed dearly .i didnt get to see you no where near as much as i wanted to but the time i got to see you and spend with you and laugh and listen to our crazy family stories ..ill never forget… you was a amazing women /mother/grandmother /aunt /and friend and so much more …. and was always there for all of us no matter what (didn’t matter how long it had been we always picked up where we left off) .i love you all here if yall need us .love and prayers always

  8. I met Diane when she worked at F&J food mart on Haywood Rd. She was always a sweet person, I know she will be missed. Her dad used to deliver kerosene to my house on Pisgah Highway. Rest in peace girl.

Diane ,I didnt et to meet you until this year but your daughter ( lesie)and i have been friends for quite some time.i didnt know what to call you but I keep hearing the girls call you Maggie and so I pick that up.i an thankful to have known you with such little time but it felt like I was part of the family I love you all and my prays go out to all the family
