Donald Edward Norton

Arden~ Donald Edward Norton, 77, died Thursday, February 10, 2011 at The Laurels of Green Tree Ridge. A native of Marinette, Wisconsin, he was son of the late Edward and Irene Byrns Norton. Don was a diplomat with the U.S. State Department for 31 years and traveled worldwide. Don was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather, loved by all, and is survived by his wife, Jennifer Woodmore Norton; sons, Steve Norton of Chanhassen, Minnesota, Doug Norton of Chesnee, South Carolina and by two grandchildren, Brittany and Chris Norton. Don is also survived by a sister, Barbara Luft of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and by a brother, Jim Norton of Crivitz, Wisconsin. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m, Monday, February 14, 2011 in the in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Hospice Chaplain, Cindi Coleman officiating.
