Asheville Butterfly TrailAsheville- Donna Herzberg Anderson, 73, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Oak View Health and Rehabilitation in Conway, SC.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Maurice J. Herzberg, Jr. and Sarah Cothran Herzberg. Donna is also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Anderson as well as a daughter, Michelle Collene Coffey-Carr.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Shannon Coffey of Myrtle Beach, SC; a son, Troy Coffey (Helen) of Richmond, VA; a sister, Linda Blanke of Asheville; a brother, Dan Herzberg of Mt. Holly, NC as well as six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Averys Creek Christian Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Donna’s family graciously asks that you consider making a contribution in her memory to Long Shoals Baptist Church.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
