Doris Herrmann Sickler

Doris Helen Herrmann Sickler, 76, of Candler, died Wednesday, November 28, 2001, at a local hospital. A native of Colonial Manor, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Carl Gottlieb and Helen Cook Herrmann. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orion Harding Sickler. She was retired from the treasury department of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Washington, DC and was a member of Foster Memorial Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Asheville. Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Gottfried of Candler and Shirley Webb of Atlanta; a sister, Jayne Christensen of Huntsville, AL and four grandchildren, Heather and Haley Gottfried of Candler and Erynn and Ryan Webb of Atlanta. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm Tuesday at Foster Memorial Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Erin Miller officiating.
