  10. Judy and Cathy, I remember the wonderful things your mom and dad did for the students at Haw Creek in John’s class. They made sure we had parties and these were highlights of elementary school. You have such an amazing family and are loved by many people.

  11. Dear Mr. Buchanan,
Bill and I were so sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. We have heard what a very special person she was. We are thinking of you and keeping you and your family in our prayers. We love you!
    Love, Lisa

  12. I send my heartfelt condonlences on your loss and pray God’s blessings in your lives. (I am Buck’s pastor at Northside UMC, Greenville SC)

  13. Mrs. Crews (‘aunt Dot’ to me) was like a second mother to me. My father was in the military and we moved often. When it came time for me to leave home and seek my way in the world I came to live with Aunt Dot and thereafter formed some of my fondest memories. Dot will always be alive and well in those memories, and in my heart.

  14. Mrs. Crews was a person that I looked forward to seeing as often as possible. I knew that when I would see her she would greet me with a smile and a positive attitude. She helped me to learn to make the best of situations. I will truly miss her and am glad that we crossed paths in our lives.

  15. Judy and Cathy,
I just found out about your Mom’s passing. When I read the obituary and saw her picture, I could hear her delightful voice and laugh. She was such a special person and so much a part of my family’s life. Heaven is getting crowded this year. We will be keeping you in our prayers in the coming weeks and months.

  16. I am a vendor at the Black Mountain Tailgate Market and Mrs. Crews was one of our absolute favorite customers. She was a super wonderful person and we will miss her hugely! There is no question where she is now! Everyone here at Jake’s Farm sends their most sincere consolences to all of you.

  17. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for our family. My Nana was a wonderful person who gave us all so much love. The care and compassion we have received has shown me that the love and light she gave to this world will live on. Nana would be so pleased to know how much she was loved and will be missed. I know she is smiling down on us.
